A geyser heating element is the component in an electric water heater that converts electrical energy into heat to warm the water. It consists of a resistive metal alloy coil, often nichrome, encased in a protective metal sheath, like copper or stainless steel. When electricity passes through the coil, it generates heat through Joule heating, which is then transferred to the surrounding water.
